DUCHA
This interior design project was carried out in a 60 m² administrative office located in the emblematic Torre Jalisco complex in downtown Caracas.
The office, exclusively for internal use without public attention, needed an efficient layout to accommodate the required workstations in a limited space.
To make the best use of the available space, the design team opted to use partitions in the form of container walls instead of traditional drywall or masonry walls. This innovative solution allowed for greater flexibility and optimization of the area, making it easier to adapt to changing organizational needs.
A key element of the design was the creation of a practical kitchenette that functions as a dividing space between the presidency and management, while the partition between management and the conference room was transformed into a versatile integrated library. These multifunctional elements helped maximize the use of space.
Another highlight was the use of the difference in level on one of the walls, where a large multifunctional cabinet was designed that hides the columns and offers a combination of closets, niches and an integrated acrylic slate, providing intelligent storage solutions.
Lighting plays a key role in this project, with a curved soffit that features lines of illumination that accentuate the distribution of the orange and red painted micro-perforated steel sheets that wrap around the entire space, creating a visually striking and welcoming environment.
The end result is a modern, efficient and visually appealing administrative office that maximizes the use of space through innovative design solutions tailored to the client’s specific needs.
