MILAN DESIGN WEEK: 8 ALLIED FACTORIES REDEFINING INTERIOR DESIGN IN 2025

Milan Design Week is one of the most important and highly anticipated events in the world of interior design. Each year, it brings together the most influential designers, architects and brands to showcase the latest innovations, trends and concepts that will shape the future of design.

This event not only reflects the cutting edge of European design, but also influences how spaces around the world evolve.

In 2025, exhibitions such as Fuorisalone and Salone del Mobile promise to be even more impactful, presenting sustainable trends, new materials, and a unique fusion of functionality and aesthetics that will transform interior design projects.

This year, our team will travel to Milan to connect directly with our leading factory partners, strengthen relationships, discover new perspectives and ensure we bring the best of design to our projects. In this way, we continue to deliver high-quality, customized solutions that make a difference in the global marketplace.

That said, here are some of the partners that are redefining the industry with their creativity, innovation and unique vision for the future.

Metamorphosis: The evolution of light and sound – Iris Ceramica

Iris Ceramica has positioned itself as one of the most emblematic factories in our portfolio, standing out not only for its beauty and quality, but also for its creative nature and constant search for innovation. In this edition of the design week, mnos presents one of its most impressive proposals: Metamorphosis, a sensory experience that challenges the traditional limits of interior design.

Under the concept “Connected Worlds”, Iris transforms ceramic surfaces into interactive digital canvases. Through a play of light, sound and cutting-edge technology, the surfaces come to life, changing color and texture, and inviting visitors to a unique experience.

This concept not only redefines aesthetics, but also the functionality of the materials, taking us to a dimension where the physical and the digital merge into a single narrative. The lights become musical instruments and the textures of the surfaces play with perceptions, creating an enveloping atmosphere that blurs the boundaries between reality and illusion.

This approach opens up new possibilities in the creation of multisensory environments.

Liminal spaces for sensory rituals – CC Tapis

This creation by Finemateria, in collaboration with Park Associati, CC Tapis and QuadroDesign, explores the idea of “liminal spaces”, those transitional environments that allow us to disconnect from chaos and reconnect with well-being.

Inspired by the softness of wool, the proposal transforms materials into elements that invite calm and rest. Liminal spaces, by their nature, are places where perceptions change, creating a refuge for the mind and body.

The onomatopoeic sound “PAFF PAFF”, which alludes to the delicate walking in slippers, marks the transition between the outdoors and an intimate space of rest and care. The proposal challenges the traditional idea of materials, fusing textures, aromas and sounds to offer a moment of disconnection in the midst of everyday agitation.

Beyond the extraordinary – Gessi

Gessi has stood out as a benchmark in the design of high-tech bathroom equipment, offering revolutionary solutions that go beyond functionality.

At Design Week 2025, this brand presents a concept that invites visitors to an immersive journey, transforming Casa Gessi Milano into a unique sensory space.

Under the slogan “Beyond the extraordinary”, this proposal becomes an experience where technology, craftsmanship and design merge. Surfaces take on new life, with fluid silhouettes and bold shapes that seem to transcend time and challenge perceptions of space.

Here, innovative materials take center stage, telling stories of elegance while connecting with cutting-edge technology.

What makes this exhibition unique is its ability to transform every corner into a laboratory of ideas, where gestures of hospitality and everyday rituals come to life. Visitors can immerse themselves in a complete sensory experience, making each interaction a personal experience that goes beyond the visual.

Casa Gessi Milano is redefined as a space where design and soul converge, leading the visitor to new ways of understanding and experiencing space.

Wall&decò 20th Anniversary: a graphic universe to see and touch

The Contemporary Wallpaper 2025 collection is a celebration of visual creativity. Through macro graphics, walls become true visual stories that come to life. These designs not only invite to be observed, but are an invitation to connect emotionally with the space.

But what really sets Wall&decò apart is its focus on the multisensory experience. Its three-dimensional textures, such as those of the Essential Wallpaper created in collaboration with Studiopepe, Zanellato/Bortotto and Ludovica+Roberto Palomba, allow users to not only see, but feel the surfaces. With each relief, new dimensions of design are explored, where aesthetics meet tactile functionality.

Wall&decò’s exclusive touch does not end there. On its anniversary, the brand introduces Grasscloth, a natural fiber backing with a unique texture, marking a milestone in the evolution of wallpaper. This new proposal is a perfect combination of tradition and avant-garde, taking interior decoration to new heights.

Suspended fabrics: a story sewn in the air – La Cividina

Each curve of this path is an invitation to feel, to experience the space in a unique way. The fabrics that give life to the pieces of La Cividina are presented as a reference to the high craftsmanship and comfort that only natural materials can provide.

The installation not only speaks of design, but of a story woven in the air, in which each step symbolizes the continuity between the body and the home.

It’s all about people – Porro

With a focus on continuous collaboration, the brand transforms human interaction into a creative process, where design adapts and evolves along with the people who live it.

In this edition, we see a narrative in which interaction and mutual understanding between designers, artisans and clients are essential.

Esotic Matter – Lualdi

Lualdi, recognized for its excellence in contemporary enclosures, continues to challenge the limits of design with its Materia Esotica proposal.

This work, created by artist Patrick Tuttofuoco, captures the essence of the interaction between space and human beings, inviting a profound reflection on how architecture can modify our perception of our surroundings.

Just as exotic matter in physics is capable of generating energy in a short period of time, Tuttofuoco’s installation amplifies the relationship between interior and exterior space, creating a unique emotional experience.

Black, White and Mirror – Davide Groppi

Davide Groppi, renowned for his unique approach to lighting, presents his new collection “Black, White and Mirror”, a work that fuses lightness and creativity in each design.

This collection stands out for its ability to balance the poetry of light with industrial precision, creating pieces that not only illuminate, but also tell a visual story.

This collection is the manifestation of Davide Groppi’s ability to transform the everyday into something extraordinary.

This 2025, we will be an active part of the in-person edition of Milan Design Week, where we will be connecting with global trends. At DGLA, we are committed to integrating them into each of our projects, delivering exceptional results that are always at the forefront of design.
